YOGA, MEDITATION INTEGRATIVE HEALTH

Hi. My name is Elizabeth Wojtowicz but everyone knows me as Ela.

I created this platform as an invitation, an offering, a welcoming towards wellness, health and connection.
Becoming a Yoga teacher in 2012 after being a part of the amazing Wanderlust Festival in Vermont, I knew I wanted to be a part of a like minded community to bring awareness to connection, unity and ability. Practicing, teaching, being of service through speaking, teaching, fundraising and bringing awareness to people with physical challenges, towards the Yoga of Ability, that ANY body EVERY body can do Yoga has been and is, a privilege and a blessing.

In 2015, I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned how to integrate dietary theories that work for YOU, the importance of Primary Food versus Secondary Food and that there is not a one size fits all approach. It is a LIFESTYLE about learning how to make small changes every day that will create big lasting impact for yourself and those around you.

Having a physical disability of Cerebral Palsy since birth, Yoga and Health Coaching have given me a deeper purpose towards helping those that may have questions, doubts, curiosities (and who doesn't have those)? of "Can I do this? What's my next step, my next Action Step? I sure did (and I sure do) so I am here to Guide you, to Remind you that the greatest teacher that we all have is already inside you.

Yoga Rising with the
Yoga and Body Image Coalition

In 2014, I traveled to Santa Barbara California to be a part of the first annual Accessible Yoga Conference where I met Melanie Klein who is the founder of the Yoga and Body Image Coalition. I immediately became involves with the YBIC as a community partner. The message of bringing more awareness to all bodies, and abilities in to the Yoga community really resonated with me and in 2018, my essay "Focusing on Ability of Dis-Ability in Yoga" was published in "Yoga Rising: 30 Empowering Stories from Yoga Renegades for Every Body" by Melanie Klein.
Being a part of a mindful movement that brings awareness to all bodies, abilities and capabilities is a true honor and privilege.

"Ela teaches yoga for people who are afraid to go to a yoga class-who don't think they can do yoga. She helps-even encourages-students to use modifications that help them to be successful in accomplishing what they want to learn. For new students, as well as those who are more experienced, it is a relaxing yoga class with emphasis on breathing, stretching, and meditation. We leave the class feeling relaxed and refreshed."

Being a Yoga Teacher with Cerebral Palsy, I offer various classes and workshops on Adaptive Chair Yoga, Gentle Flow Yoga (Adaptive Vinyasa Flow), Yogability classes and meditation offerings and gatherings. My Yogability classes combine Pranayama (breathwork) and gentle conscious movements that help individuals learn to connect to their abilities and capabilities in a deeper more embodied way.
Beyond the physical practice of yoga, I offer the deeply healing gifts that I have experienced through my work off the mat. I have trained as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach to fulfill my passion of helping people realize your potential, no matter what challenges you may be facing. I also help you learn how they you take the initiative for your OWN life to fulfill your most personal desires.
